ZERO POINT begins at the edge of visibility. A nearly imperceptible point sits at the center of the canvas, surrounded by expanding rings of saturated color.

The composition has no fixed direction. It may be radiating outward or drawing everything inward. The closer the eye moves toward the center, the less there is to see – yet that almost-empty point seems to hold the entire painting in place.

Color accumulates in concentric fields, shifting between luminosity and saturation. From a distance, the circular structure appears precise; up close, irregular brushwork, interruptions, and unexpected traces of color disrupt its order. Precision gives way to something more human and unpredictable.

At the center is almost nothing. Everything else happens around it. The work does not describe a beginning. It asks whether a beginning can ever be seen at all.

ZERO POINT has the kind of presence that changes a room without explaining itself. Its saturated color is immediate, while the nearly invisible center keeps the eye searching for what cannot quite be held.

For a collector, the tension gives the work its staying power: maximal color surrounding minimal information. ZERO POINT holds a paradox at its center – almost nothing is there, yet everything seems to begin from it.

This painting is to remind us that there’s a vast reservoir of energy available to us. And that we tap into it not by thinking and planning but by getting grounded, centered and silent enough to be in contact with the Source. 

It is within each of us. Like an individual sun – the Source of light is giving us light and nourishment.

Pure energy, pulsating, available – it is ready to give us anything we need to accomplish something and ready to welcome us back home when we want to rest.
