THE SUN explores light as both presence and movement. A luminous white form surrounds a central spiral, creating stillness within a field of radiant energy.

The composition balances stillness at its center with movement throughout. Rooted in a luminous core, the Sun shifts from a recognizable form into an expansive field of energy. 

What begins as a recognizable solar presence gradually moves toward abstraction – the Sun becomes less an object in space than a field of energy.

The spiral at the heart of the painting introduces another dimension. It draws the eye inward even as the composition expands outward, creating a simultaneous experience of concentration and release. The center becomes both source and destination.

Viewed from a distance, THE SUN has an immediate, radiant presence. Up close, its surface opens into a complex world of flowing lines, delicate points, transparent layers, and shifting color. The work moves between intensity and calm, offering the collector an image that is visually powerful yet capable of sustained contemplation.

THE SUN explores light as an active force, moving beyond form into pure energy. It creates its own field of presence. From across a space, it radiates; approached closely, it dissolves into lines, particles, and light.
